Jaden Springer has completed his first season at IMG Academy in Bradenton, Florida and has helped the Ascenders reach a 27-1 overall record and to being one of the top five teams in the nation. Springer is a 6-foot-5 combo guard and transferred into IMG Academy (FL) after playing his sophomore season in his hometown of Charlotte, North Carolina at Rocky River High School (NC).
During his sophomore campaign, Jaden averaged 25.0 points per game while snagging down 11.0 rebounds per game for Rocky River (NC) and led his squad to North Carolina’s class 4A final four game. He is currently ranked in the top-15 nationally in his class and will be one of the top prospects college scouts will be evaluating during this spring, summer’s evaluation period.

The junior combo guard told me Georgia, Wake Forest, Tennessee, Maryland, Texas, Vanderbilt, Kansas, NC State, Auburn, Tulane, and Clemson have been in contact with him the most recently so far. He has not taken any visits at all during the high school season but will be taking an official visit this weekend to Tennessee as they host top-5 Kentucky. “We’re going to the University of Tennessee this weekend and I’m going to schedule two more once Jaden tells me where he wants to go”, his mom tells me.
We asked Jaden, since arriving at IMG Acadmey (FL), what he think has improved in his game. “I improved more as a teammate. I have gotten my body in better shape and I feel like my all around game play has been elevated to another level”, Jaden says. He is an effective two-way player and is able to make plays on both ends of the floor. Springer is part of a starting lineup that is filled with next level players, including three 2019 McDonald’s All Americans. Jaden also tells me he will be running with B Maze Elite (TN) once again in his last year of AAU in the Under Armour Association.
