The 2023-2024 high school season is slowly approaching as we get one step closer before things tip off and some of the nation’s best events are starting to get their field of teams finalized. The Quincy Shootout is certainly one of those elite tournaments we speak of, we look forward to every season, and has been one of the best high school events in the Midwest over the last couple of years.
The 2024 Quincy Shootout is already scheduled for January 19th and 20th and back at Quincy High School and Quincy Notre Dame High School in Quincy, Illinois. The event is expected to host a couple projected nationally ranked programs and some of the nations best basketball programs for two days.
The field of teams include Link Academy (MO), Wasatch Academy (UT), Calvary Christian (FL), Imhotep Charter (PA), Imani Christian (PA), Oak Cliff Faith Family (TX), Vashon (MO), Curie (IL), Lee Summit West (MO), Chaminade (MO), Huntington Prep (WV), Simeon (IL), Millard North (NE), The Burlington School (NC), Father Tolton (MO), Quincy (IL), Quincy Notre Dame (IL), and West Central (IL)
2024 Ahmad Nowell (UConn), 2024 Tre Johnson, 2025 Isaiah Harwell, 2025 Shon Abaev, 2025 Derek Rollins, 2025 Aaron Rowe, 2024 John Mobley Jr. (Ohio State), 2025 Chris Nwuli, 2024 James Brown (North Carolina), 2025 Darryn Peterson, 2024 Zion Walker, 2024 Doryan Onwuchekwa, 2024 Labaron Philon, and plenty more high level prospects are to be expected at the 2024 Quincy Shootout in January.
A few key matchups have already been established and will be released at another time and posted. This should be one of the better national events during the 2023-2024 high school season.
