Gold Level Sports & Entertainment and the National Basketball Players Association will be bringing back The Throne National Championship Tournament for the 2023-2024 high school season. Last year’s first ever event turned out to be one of the biggest events during the high school basketball season and was held down in Atlanta, Georgia on the campus of Morehouse College.
This year’s national event will be set for March 27-30th at the American Dream in East Rutherford, New Jersey. The Throne National Championship will once again feature sixteen of the nation’s top state associate programs and will also feature an 8-team girls bracket, something they did not have in 2023.
Highly rated programs featured in the 16-team boys field include Columbus (FL), Oak Ridge (FL), Don Bosco Prep (NJ), McEachern (GA), Plano East (TX), Gonzaga High School College (DC), Grayson (GA), Ridgeview (SC), Myers Park (NC), Bishop O’Connell (VA), St. Rose (NJ), Roosevelt (CA), Notre Dame (CA), Central Cabarrus (NC), Jackson-Reed (NC), and the CHSAA/PSAL (NY) winner.
For the girls side, the 8-team field includes highly rated programs Morris Catholic (NJ), Grayson (GA), Hebron Christian (GA), Bishop McNamara (MD), DeSoto (TX), McDonough (MD), Ridgeline (UT), and the CHSAA/PSAL (NY) winner
